My philosophy about hunting rifles is simple. They should provide confidence in the field, and a sense of pride when displayed. I build them to be reliable in field conditions with accuracy that would shame many "target" rifles.

These rifles are based on the phenomenal Surgeon round action, and carefully-selected premium components are used throughout. Paired with obsessive attention to fit and finish, this helps me achieve the smooth, solid feel you expect, and looks you can be proud of.

Action: Surgeon RSR or RL standard and magnum bolt faces

Barrel: Match grade barrels are selected based upon availability from Bartlein, Broughton, and Krieger. Available with finished lengths up to 26" in #4 taper**.

Chambers: available in any standard chambering.

Trigger: Jewell HVR

Stock: any non-adjustable hunting stock from H-S Precision, Mannners, or McMillian. Includes two sling swivels (front & rear)

Floor Metal: H-S Precision in detachable box magazine for reliable feeding and traditional flush-mounted looks.

Finishing: KG or Cerakote

Optional Upgrades:

• Upgrade action - Surgeon's round actions provide an outstanding foundation, and traditional looks, but if you are after maximum durability and performance, they also offer models with an integrated recoil lug and integrated Picatinny rail:
  • Upgrade to Surgeon 591 (for short action calibers): $700.00
  • Upgrade to Surgeon 1086 (for long action calibers): $850.00
